About the Opportunity

Worldwide Medical Staffing, a Joint Commission Certified and Native Veteran-Owned healthcare staffing agency based in Mesa, AZ, is expanding! Due to a significant increase in business, we are looking to add a dedicated Credentialing Specialist to our growing team. This is an in-person role located in Mesa, AZ, offering a great opportunity to join a fast-paced and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Credentialing Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring our healthcare professionals are fully compliant and ready for placement. Responsibilities include:

• Onboarding new hires by collecting and reviewing required certifications and immunization records

• Coordinating applications and maintaining clear communication with candidates and clients

• Managing background checks and fingerprinting processes

• Conducting I-9 verifications

• Verifying affiliations and employment history

• Monitoring certification expiration dates and proactively notifying employees at 45- and 30-day intervals

What We’re Looking For

• Previous healthcare credentialing experience preferred

• Familiarity with Joint Commission standards and compliance practices is a plus

• Strong ability to multitask and manage multiple files efficiently

• Excellent organizational and computer skills to maintain accurate credentialing records

• Strong communication and attention to detail

Work Schedule & Compensation

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (in-office)

• $19–$24 per hour, depending on experience
